How to Cite Newspaper Article Using APA Style. The American Psychological Association (APA) Referencing System. The APA (American Psychological Association) style requires two elements: in-text citations throughout your assignment, and a reference list at the end.
At the end of your assignment, you are required to provide the full bibliographic information for each source. References must be listed in alphabetical order by author.

N.B. See the Library’s APA webpage for a quotation of 40 or more words.
